Purpose: Homework has always been considered one of an important factor in learning. The form and type of homework differed for each course of study. The current study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of making videos and photos of the stages of homework on the level of students'' learning and their interest in learning.
Method: Students were asked to take videos or photos of the work steps while completing the assignment and sending them. Kirkpatrick''s pyramid was used for evaluation, and students'' reactions were assessed with the help of a questionnaire about this learning method. In addition, to check the level of students'' learning, the average scores of students who submitted their assignments were compared with the control through an independent t-test.
Findings: The level of attractiveness of this method of homework was 100%, the desire to hold a class in this way was 91.6%, the agreement to do homework in other courses in this style was 83%, and the overall satisfaction level of students using this method was 91.6%. The average grades at the end of the semester were significantly higher in the case group than the control group (in both entries of students, respectively, 17.79±2.07 versus 16.33±2.07, p=0.41 and 19.73±0.33 versus 18.5±0.5, p=0.40).
Conclusion: The results of this research showed that making videos and photos of homework stages of doing homework plays an effective role in improving the level of students'' learning and their interest in learning.
