Background: Agility is regarded as a key organizational capability for thriving in a competitive environment. Professional ethics, organizational culture, and organizational justice are among the important and influential factors affecting organizational agility. The present study aimed to investigate the mediating role of organizational culture and organizational justice in the relationship between professional ethics and organizational agility at Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: This study is a descriptive research based on structural equation modeling (SEM). It is a cross-sectional survey in terms of time, and data collection was conducted through a survey method. The statistical population included all employees of Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences (N=1839) in the academic year 2024-2025. According to the Morgan table, the sample size was determined to be 318 individuals, selected using simple random sampling. Data collection instruments included the standard Organizational Culture Questionnaire (Cameron & Quinn), Organizational Justice Questionnaire (Niehoff & Moorman), Organizational Agility Questionnaire (Sharifi & Zhang), and the Professional Ethics Questionnaire (Cadozier). Data analysis was carried out using SPSS and PLS statistical software at both descriptive and inferential statistical levels.
Results: In this study, 318 individuals participated, including 179 women (56.3%) and 139 men (43.7%). The mean and standard deviation scores were as follows: professional ethics, 3.55 ± 0.73; organizational agility, 3.63 ± 0.71; organizational justice, 3.55 ± 0.79; and organizational culture, 3.57 ± 0.74..
