چکیده [English]

This study was conducted to identify and compare the factors affecting the quality of clinical education from the perspective of medical and dental students of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in 2020 on 310 medical and dental students of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences who had entered their clinical education stage. Data were collected in five fields (goals and educational program, instructor, student interaction, educational environment, and monitoring and evaluation). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test in SPSS v.16. From the perspective of the participants, the fields of educational environment and monitoring and evaluation were the most important factors influencing the quality of clinical education while the field of instructor was the least important factor. The results of comparing the mean scores of the two disciplines showed that the differences between students' opinions in the fields of goals and educational program and instructor were significant (P <0.05).
