چکیده

: با توجه به این که عوامل مختلفی مانند فرهنگ، شرایط اقلیمی، اقتصادی می‌توانند بر انگیزه‌های افراد در انتخاب یک رشتة دانشگاهی مؤثر باشد مطالعۀ حاضر به منظور تعیین انگیزه‌های دانشجویان پزشکی و دندان‌پزشکی در انتخاب رشتة خود در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بابل صورت ‌گرفت. پرسش‌نامه‌ای پایا و روا در اختیار کلیة دانشجویان سال اول رشتة پزشکی و دندان‌پزشکی بابل قرار گرفت که شامل مشخصات فردی و سؤالات مربوط به انگیزة دانشجویان در انتخاب رشتة تحصیلی خود بود. داده‌ها با استفاده از نسخة 19 نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS و آزمون آمار توصیفی و آمار تحلیلی chi-squareمورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت و 05/0 P< معنادار تلقی شد. از 100 پرسش نامة توزیع شده 99پرسش-نامه (99%) باز گردانده شد. داشتن شغلی با پایة علمی اولین انگیزة انتخاب رشتة پزشکی و داشتن موقعیت حرفه‌ای بالا اولین انگیزه برای انتخاب رشته در مورد دانشجویان دندان پزشکی بوده است. انگیزه‌های مرتبط با ماهیت شغل به عنوان انگیزة انتخاب رشتة دانشجویان پسر بیش از دانشجویان دختر بوده و این اختلاف معنادار بوده است.( 01/0P=). دانشجویان هر دو رشتة پزشکی و دندان پزشکی در انتخاب رشتة خود به موقعیت اجتماعی و حرفه‌ای توجه داشتند که بیانگر این مسأله است که این مشاغل همچنان در اولویت انتخاب رشته‌های دانشگاهی بوده و طرفداران زیادی دارند.

چکیده [English]

Due to many factors such as culture, climate, and economy could affect students' motives in choosing a field of study at university, the present study was to determine the motives of medical and dental students at the Babol University of medical sciences for choosing major. A valid and reliable questionnaire inquiring students’ demographic characteristics and their incentives for entering dentistry and medicine was distributed. Then the data were analyzed by Chi-Square test along using SPSS version 19; and the statistics obtained (P<0.05) was considered significant. From 100 Distributed questionnaires, 99 questionnaires (99%) were returned. The scientific basis of career was the first motivation of the selection medicine as academic major, and a high professional status for dental students was a primary motivation for choosing this field, too; moreover, Job-related incentive was considered as strong motivation for male students than female students in course selection that this difference was significant (P=0.01). Considering the results, it should be noted that both medical and dental students had high level of motivation in choosing a career upon to their social and professional status which suggests that this issue remains as a priority in the selection of academic disciplines for the majority of supporters.
