چکیده

انگیزه های انتخاب رشته ضمن تأثیر بر رضایت از تحصیل و موفقیت دانشجویان، می تواند زمینه ی تعهد به حرفه مرتبط با آن رشته ی تحصیلی را فراهم کند. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی انگیزه های انتخاب رشته ی دستیاران پزشکی و میزان رضایت مندی آنان از تحصیل در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز انجام شد. این مطالعه ی توصیفی- مقطعی در سال 1392 روی 430 دستیار پزشکی به روش سرشماری انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری داده ها، پرسش نامه ی محقق ساخته بود مشتمل بر 24 سؤال که در یک مطالعه ی مقدماتی روایی و پایایی آن بررسی و تأیید شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها با آزمون‌های تی مستقل و مجذور کای با استفاده از نسخه ی 18 نرم افزار SPSS انجام شد. از 430 دستیار تعداد 219 نفر (52 درصد) مرد و تعداد 310 نفر (75 درصد) متأهل با میانگین سنی 9/4±8/34 بودند. توانایی انجام کار بهتر، بالابردن دانش و آگاهی و علاقه ی شخصی به ترتیب با میانگین 45/4، 39/4 و 36/4 به عنوان بالاترین اولویت بیشترین تأثیر؛ و راحتی و بی دردسر بودن، نداشتن اورژانس و استرس با میانگین 33/2، 50/2 به عنوان پایین ترین اولویت کمترین تأثیر را در انتخاب رشته ی تخصصی داشتند. تعداد 284 نفر (7/66 درصد) از رشته ی تحصیلی رضایت داشتند و تعداد 142 نفر (3/33 درصد) اعلام داشتند که از رشته ی تحصیلی خود رضایت ندارند. میزان رضایت دستیاران به تفکیک سن، جنس و وضعیت تأهل تفاوت معناداری نداشت. یافته های این پژوهش می تواند در شناسایی انگیزه های ادامه ی تحصیل دستیاران و کمک به هدایت تحصیلی آنان مؤثر باشد.

Motivations of specialty choice can affect on satisfaction and academic performance of student and provide commitment for career-related jobs. This study carried out to assess medical residents’ motivations for specialty choices and their satisfaction in Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences. This cross-sectional study was conducted on 430 medical residents by census method in the 1392. The data was gathered by a self-administrated questionnaire include 24 items. Validity and reliability of the questionnaires were confirmed. The data was analyzed by SPSS software using mean, frequency t-test and chi-square tests. Out of 430 medical residents, 219(52%) were men and 310(75%) were married with an average age 34.8±4.9 years. The most important reasons for choice of specialty were “provide better service, increase knowledge and personal Interest” with averages 4.45, 4.39 and 4.36 respectively. The factors “Easiness and being comfortable, lack of urgency and stress were less important motives for choice of specialty with means 2.33 and 2.50 respectively. 284(66.7%) of participants were satisfied special field and 142(33.3%) were not satisfied. Statistically significant differences were not seen in satisfactions’ residents between age, gender and marital status. The findings of this study can be used by health care stakeholders to identify motivates and interest for specialty choices help medical residents for study direction.
