Abstract
Educational motivation is an effective factor in enhancing students' learning and success. Therefore, the educational system needs to work to increase the motivation necessary for student learning and development that will ultimately lead to train more efficient people. One way to increase motivation is to encourage and appreciate people. Accordingly, Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in 2019, for the first time at the level of medical universities in Iran, organized a festival honoring top educational students with the acronym "Tadbir". In this festival, students with top marks in national exams, top educational students in terms of grade point average, and top educational students in terms of educational development related activities were appreciated. Because such a festival has a potential to promote a healthy competitive environment and enhance the student's vitality in the area of ​​education and participation in educational development activities, they should be planned annually in medical universities.
