Abstract

Graduates of MSc and BSc environmental health students must have the knowledge of programming and designing to carry the research projects regarding to the environmental health subjects. The present study was carried out to find the points that should be changed in the outlines of research methods module from the points of the students using closed questionnaires. Results of this study revealed that the majority of the students have confirmed the necessity and importance of this module in the curriculum of their course. In addition, the findings of this study revealed that the quality and quantity of some parts of research methods module should be changed using work-shop techniques including applying a real proposal. In addition, it is suggested that the current condition of the teaching of the module should be supported and the mark of the course recorded in the results of the students, officially, by the authority of Kashan University of medical sciences.
