Abstract

The present research, conducted in a descriptive-survey framework, aimed to examine the changes in attitudes of teachers in primary school towards the educational responsibilities. The population included all instructors in Farhangian University, among whom a total number of 86 applicants were randomly selected. The data were gathered through a researcher-made questionnaire and analyzed using one-sample t-test. Results showed that there existed a significant relationship between teachers’ attitudes towards their educational responsibilities and those of theoretical mean for concrete instructional design, up-to-date teaching methods and descriptive evaluation (p=0.01). Findings, in addition, showed that attitudinal changes in teachers could enhance the quality of teaching in elementary schools provided that the educational management is satisfactorily accompanied.
