Evaluation of the relationship between happiness and pre-internship exam score in internship medical students of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in 1400

Abstract
Happiness is one of the most important concepts in daily life that can affect life in various ways. In this regard, the present study was conducted to determine the relationship between pre-internship test scores and the level of happiness of interns in Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences.
This descriptive cross-sectional study and the statistical population included all general medicine students. The number of samples based on the sampling formula was 235 people who were randomly selected and entered into the study. A questionnaire was completed for each intern, which included demographic information as well as the required variables based on the standard questionnaire.
The mean score of happiness was lower than the average. There was a direct and significant relationship between pre-internship test scores and happiness scores. There was no significant relationship between the mean happiness score with gender, age, marital status, and residence of the interns.
Due to the prevalence of coronary heart disease, the educational status of students, especially medical students who should be present at the clinic, has been challenged and has provided concerns for them. In this regard, educational strategies should be improved most desirably and appropriate training workshops in the field of psychological variables should be provided.
