Abstract
Purpose: The current research was conducted with the aim of identifying the harms of electronic education in Farhangian University of South Khorasan province.
Methodology: This research is considered to be an applied one in terms of purpose which has been done using a qualitative method. The participants included all the professors of Farhangian University of South Khorasan province in the academic year of 1401-1402, and 17 people were selected as participants using the purposeful sampling method. The semi-structured interview method was used to collect the data and the interview process continued until theoretical saturation. The validity of the measurement tool was verified using the method of coders' agreement, and the systematic and analytical approach of Strauss and Corbin was used to analyze the data. The data were analyzed in the form of open codes, axial codes and selective codes and MAXQDA12 software.
Findings: The results indicated that the damage caused to electronic education in Farhangian University can be divided into 30 open codes, 12 axial codes (professors, students, system, design, expert labor force, decision making, performance evaluation, lack of institutionalization, lack of professional ethics, management, distribution and infrastructure) and 4 optional codes (executive, managerial, cultural and technological).
Conclusion: Based on the results of this research, the development of electronic education and its technologies in Farhangian University is a time-consuming matter and requires solving many problems, but the first step in this field is to provide an electronic education infrastructure and institutionalize the culture of electronic education.
