Investigating the level of interaction between students and Educational Consultant professors of Abadan University of Medical Sciences and the factors affecting it during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract
Objectives: Students are one of the main pillars of the university and receiving academic counseling services should be provided to them by experienced people. The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the level of interaction between students and educational consultant professors and the factors affecting it during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Methods and Materials: The current epidemiologic research is cross-sectional and of a descriptive analysis, which was carried out with the participation of 35 educational consultant professors and 329 students . The research tool included a demographic questionnaire and a researcher-made questionnaire in three educational-research, personal-emotional and social-welfare areas.
Results: As a results: from the point of view of the professors, the highest average in the educational-research area is 72 and social-welfare 29.89 related to paramedical faculty and in the personal-emotional area 24.75 related to the faculty It was health and in all three areas, the lowest average was in medical school. From the point of view of the students, the highest average is in the educational-research area 53.01 related paramedical faculty and in the personal-emotional 14.18 and social-welfare 17.61related to the faculty It was nursing. In all three areas, the lowest mean was for the medical school.
Conclusions: The interaction between students and professors in the educational-research area and in faculties with experienced professors is more and should be expanded in other fields and faculties as well.
