Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the power of response to medical sciences disciplines’ syllabuses as a Case study of  nursing discipline at Yasuj University of Medical Sciences. This descriptive survey was carried out while all professors and faculty members  (19 individuals) of Nursing Faculty at nursing department of Yasuj university of medical sciences were participated in 2015. In this study, data were collected according to the framework of Turkzadeh and Nekumand (2016) through a structured questionnaire and interview. Then to analyze the data, t-student and Friedman tests were used in addition to mean and standard deviation.. According to the results, the nursing curriculum has been responsive to the environment (p<%5). Nursing curriculum was also responsive to the environment in terms of conceptual, structural and functional dimensions (p <% 5); moreover, functional dimension had the highest amount of responsiveness and conceptual dimension had the lowest amount of responsiveness to the environment. It seems, the significant of nursing curriculum is depended on response to environment; and in this regard, nursing curriculum in the field of research is evaluated meaningfully.
