Abstract

The purpose of this study was teaching correct scientific citation in the scientific productions to the top writers of the Iranian Medical Sciences Universities in2017with regard to the relationship between moral growth and self-control variables with the "Citation to colleagues" model in the articles written by the top authors of Iranian medical universities in 2017. The current scientometrics and correlation study was conducted in the Iranian Medical Sciences Universities in 2017.The population under study in the first part of this research includes all the writers who had an H-index of 10 or more in the scientist database in 2017.The sample size at this stage was 130.The data collected were analyzed by SPSS 16.0. The results showed meaningful relationship between moral growth variable and "Citation to colleagues" model, but self-control variable and related model is not meaningful; moreover, the regression model is significant.The coefficient of determination is equal to 0.236 and F ratio is 16.152 that data showed is significant at P
