Abstract

The objective of present study was to assess the effective teaching priorities in order to find out the opinions of teachers and students within educational system. This research was carried out by a descriptive – cross sectional study over semesters in 92-93 at Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences. To this end, 80 questionnaires were distributed and collected as an available sampling among teachers and students. The number of samples in this study were 80 (40 post graduate students) and (40 teachers from various faculties).Then, the data collection was done by a questionnaire consisted of 20 questions in four different sections; moreover, the format of this researcher-made questionnaire was utilized Likert scale. Then the distribution and scoring of the priorities was done. Subsequently, the data demonstrated the students and teachers’ opinion had the similarities and differences with each other; the result of this study could indicate that both students and teachers were aware of their requirements in the field of education, moreover, the assessment of their opinions can be helpful in improving the quality of educational system.
