Abstract
The present research sought to design the model of antecedents and consequences of the learning organization in Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences. For this purpose, a qualitative research was conducted using semi-structured interviews with 24 employees of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences, including faculty members, managers and employees. Sampling was done with the purposeful method and the obtained data was analyzed with the ground theory method. The analysis of the findings showed that in relation to the antecedents of the learning organization, three main categories were identified, including self-directed human resources, dynamic organizational network, and cooperative learning culture. In connection with the consequences of the learning organization, three final categories were identified and extracted, including the strengthening of systemic thinking, improved decision-making, and improved efficiency. Examining the characteristics of the learning organization also indicated the extraction and identification of three main characteristics, including creativity, leadership and efficiency. Finally, the model of antecedents and consequences of the learning organization was designed.
