Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide a model to enhance the motivation of faculty members of Islamic Azad University of Sistan and Baluchestan. The present study was a descriptive survey in terms of qualitative and quantitative data types, and in terms of how variables were implemented and manipulated. The statistical population in the qualitative section consisted of 18 university professors and specialists in the field of higher education in the open universities of Sistan and Baluchestan province. In the quantitative section, a sample of 300 people was selected by stratified random sampling from the statistical population using Morgan table (n = 169). Semi-structured interviews and the standard Rosberg standard questionnaire were used to collect the data. Exploratory factor analysis was used to analyze the dimensions and components of job motivation, single sample t-test, and to compare the present and desired status of dependent t-test with SPSS software. . In order to present the final model of the research, modeling and fitting modeling was used in structural equation modeling technique using Amos software. The findings showed that the factors of job motivation of faculty members of Islamic Azad University of Sistan and Baluchestan include: the nature of job, work environment, intra-organizational and intra-organizational communication, salary and teacher appreciation. The current status of faculty motivation is as follows: job t = 0.35, work environment t = 0.78, communication t = 0.90 and wage t = 0.68.
