Abstract

The purpose of this study was to present a model of talent management for faculty members at Islamic Azad University of Mazandaran province. The research method was applied in terms of purpose  as well as a combination of qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative statistical population of the study consisted of faculty members in Islamic Azad University of Mazandaran province that were selected by purposeful sampling method. The second group of the study population included all 1603 faculty members in Islamic Azad University of Mazandaran province were participated by stratified random sampling method, and based on Cochran formula, 310 members were chosed as sample size. In addition, content analysis was used to analyze the qualitative data of the study.. In quantitative part, moreover,according to the research questions, descriptive statistical methods (mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution table and graph), and in terms of inferential statistics (structural equation modeling, exploratory factor analysis, correlation matrix and t-value) and also Spss and lisrel software were  employed After anlysis, the results showed that the components of university talent management, Maintenance and replacement factor, factor of service compensation system, empowerment factor, recruitment brand factor, tool and resource factor according to the research components provided a model that was desirable. Therefore, the proposed model of university talent management (with  maintenance and replacement factors, compensation system factor, empowerment factor, recruitment brand factor, tool factor and resources according to research components) was a good predictor for talent management in this university.
