Anxiety and depression are two very important issues in everyone’s life. This is due undoubtedly to exposure to stress and tensions, and it is the individuals’ variability that determines to what extent they are influenced by environmental conditions. Through this cross-comparative study conducted in May 2014, we tried to determine to what extent the individuals behavior is affected by the environment. The research hypothesis holds that the extent of anxiety and depression among non-native male students of Dentistry School at Ahvaz Jundi Shapour University of Medical Science was much higher than that of their native counterparts. To this end, Beck Depression Inventory and Cattell Anxiety test were used. Then, reliability and validity of the questionnaire were reassessed, and then the population was determined through studying total of 123 male studentsthat 62 (31 non-native and 31 native) students were randomized easily, in addition, they had spent more than 2 years studying dentistry, and their family economic situation was also relatively moderate. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, frequency, mode, mean, standard deviation, ANOVA, and independent t-test and Pearson Correlation using statistical software SPSS21. Finally, the results indicated that depression and anxiety among native and non-native students were not significantly different, therefore, the hypothesis was rejected.}, keywords = {Anxiety,depression,Native and Non,native Students,Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences Health Services}, title_fa = {بررسی و مقایسه ی میزان افسردگی و اضطراب بین دانشجویان بومی و غیر بومی دانشکده ی دندان-پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز}, abstract_fa = {دانشجویان رشته ی دندان پزشکی علاوه بر استرس‏های محیط آموزشی در معرض استرس‏های محیط بالینی نیز قرار می‏گیرند. اضطراب و افسردگی دو مقوله ی بسیار مهم در زندگی افراد می باشد. در این پژوهش که به صورت مقطعی_مقایسه ای در اردیبهشت سال 1393 انجام شد، سعی شده تا مشخص شود که محیط تا چه حدودی بر روی فرد اثر می گذارد. فرضیه ی تحقیق اشاره به آن دارد که میزان افسردگی و اضطراب دانشجویان پسر غیر بومی دانشکده ی دندان-پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز بیشتر از دانشجویان بومی است و در این راستا و برای سنجش این موضوع از دو آزمون معتبر (آزمون افسردگی بک، و آزمون اضطراب کتل) استفاده گردید. روایی و پایایی پرسش نامه ها مجدداً مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. از کل تعداد 123 نفر دانشجویان پسر شاغل به تحصیل، تعداد 62 نفر که 31 نفر آن ها دانشجویان بومی و 31 نفر دیگر از دانشجویان غیر بومی بودند و سابقه ی تحصیل آن ها در دانشکده ی دندان پزشکی بیش از دو سال و از نظر وضعیت اقتصادی نیز دارای شرایط نسبتاً متوسطی بودند، به‌صورت تصادفی ساده و به عنوان نمونه ی تحقیق انتخاب شدند. به منظور تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها نیز از آمارهای توصیفی درصد، فراوانی، مد، میانگین و انحراف معیار، آزمون تحلیل واریانس یک راهه، آزمون t مستقل و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و با استفاده از نسخه ی 21 نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS انجام شد و نتایج نشانگر این بود که افسردگی و اضطراب دانشجویان بومی و غیر بومی پسر با یکدیگر تفاوت معناداری ندارد و در یک سطح می باشند. در نتیجه فرضیه پژوهش رد می‌شود.}, keywords_fa = {اضطراب,افسردگی,بومی و غیر بومی,دانشجویان,دانشگاه علوم پزشکی جندی شاپور اهواز}, url = {https://edj.ajums.ac.ir/article_79746.html}, eprint = {https://edj.ajums.ac.ir/article_79746_ddedc790f0d04a75feeffbeeb1fd1a78.pdf} }
